I am trying to develop an in-game addon that lists wow-heroes GearScore in game. That would solidify wow-heroes as the definitive source of pve info. But you currently only export per-guild in xml, unless there is a source I do not know about.

And I am mainly interested in GS, not anything else. If you would like to know more about how I'm implementing please private message me and we can discuss.

In the meantime, what about a roster of gearscores by realm in xml or csv?
:grin:

Thanks for your excellent website,
Gary

hi alex,

ich benutze die aktuelle version von wowheadtooltip, dort wird jquery.min version 1.4.2 genutzt.
Leider funktioniert mit dieser version wowheros.js nicht mehr. Da kommt die
Fehlermeldung: $ is undefined Line 14

We've updated wowhead tooltips and main page is working fine again (with normal background). We're using jquery 1.3.2, but everything should work with 1.4.2 too. If you still have problems, please post a direct link to a page where the problem occurs and I'll try to help asap :)

here is my site: http://portal.kos-gilde.de

to the right you see a block called "Gilden - Top 10"
In firefox you see the error with firebug:

Quote:
$ is undefined
http://wow.kos-gilde.de/kosforum/Themes ... wHeroes.js
Line 14

ie8 error:

Quote:
Meldung: '$' ist Null oder kein Objekt
Zeile: 14
Zeichen: 3
Code: 0
URI: http://wow.kos-gilde.de/kosforum/Themes ... wHeroes.js

Code: Select all
<!-- <script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.3.2/jquery.min.js"></script> -->

so just replace that with
Code: Select all
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.3.2/jquery.min.js"></script>

1.4.2 works fine, no need for 1.3.2 but you didn't put either of them, check your source on main page. Just put
Code: Select all
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.2/jquery.min.js"></script>
somewhere and everything should be ok.

if you put your jquery code in the same file/place as your wowheroes.js code it should work. i had the same problem on phpbb until i inputted the code
Code: Select all
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.3.2/jquery.min.js"></script>

inside of the block where the top10 script is

Any further discussion about an API to just pull one character's WoW-Heroes score?
