i know its not by ilvl and i know this site is more accurate then ingame but a guildy keeps asking me how is it done here and i just can explain it cause i have no clue can anyone help me out here?
Overall score is influenced mostly by: - gems (their quality and usable value) - items (not item level, but value of stats on each item) - enchants (their quality and usable value)
That was a vague answer, what is the actual formula that is used to come up with the gear score. And has anyone ever suggested "a what if form" so we could see what our score would be if we used one enchant/gear verses another?

Better than a tool to tell us which gear is best for GS would be a tool that tells you which gear is best for DPS...
