Did you modify scoring method in beta version? You don't mention it in 'what's new?'.
I get 819 on normal site, and 673 on beta. Bars showing progress also moved, and i think those are more accurate now.

can you report on which character (server, zone) did u see the difference?
Scoring should be the same, you might have cached character on normal wow heroes, and fresh from armory on beta?

Both are fresh.
Character is Madaryna on EU Kilrogg.
