About the XML format

Post#1 » Tue Feb 05, 2013 6:09 pm

can we get an xml better formated or something like that?
the xml file that i got was this (http://xml.wow-heroes.com/xml-guild.php ... &g=Insanos)
and all information about every char is inside only one tag... forcing us to use regex to get every information about every char...
if we had something like:
<wow-heroes>
<guild>
<character>
<name>CHAR</name>
<raceId>4</raceId>
<genderId>0</genderId>
<classId>3</classId>
<level>90</level>
<talents>2-3-1-2-3-3</talents>
<specId>7</specId>
<specName>Beast Mastery</specName>
<guildRank>5</guildrank>
<score>7073</score>
<date>2013-01-29 10:43:26</date>
<suggest>Heroic:MV,Heroic:HoF,Heroic:TES</suggest>
</character>
</guild>
</wow-heroes>

would be perfect...
and only one more question... from where you guys take these suggestions? O_o

thanks

If you're parsing xml with php, you don't have to use regex, you can get specific attributes with getAttribute("someAttribute") - for example:
getAttribute("raceId")
We create instance suggestions, according to player level and gear (+enchants and gems)
