I tried to find the answer to this question elsewhere on the site and forums, but was unable to find it. I was curious about how rankings are determined for guilds. Is it a simple 1 point per first time guild kill of a boss? Does it take into account additional kills of bosses? Would a guild with two kills on a boss be ranked above a guild with 1 kill on the boss if all other progression is equal?
We take into account: - how many bosses the guild has killed and on which mode (normal/heroic) - when did the boss die (after the release) - guilds get a small bonus points for clearing the whole instance
All data is taken from official guild armory page (for example)
It's not possible to track all guild kills 100% accurately. The only way to do it is to track personal statistics for each guild member but there's no way to tell if they have killed the boss in a guild run or PuG.
