Enchant Chest - Major Spirit (+15 spirit) is the best enchant for mages in many tier 9 gear combinations.

Thanks. It's typically about a 1dps upgrade over +10 stats, it's easy to check in the current version of Rawr if you plug in almost any ToC/ToGC geared mage.

It is however inferior for lower tiers of gear, and I know some newbie players use that feature to make enchant decisions (and +15 spirit is much much cheaper than +10 stats), so... meh.
