WoW Heroes -> View topic - can't get info from new versions

the only version that works for me is the old one.

the new and beta version, i enter a name and its 'searching' pretty much forever. i can go to work and come back and its still looking.

with the old version, the result is loaded immediately.

i don't know if this something on my end, or if its server side. maybe everyone and their dog is using the beta version, so its overloaded.

i'd like to use the beta version, but i haven't been able to see what it is yet.

is this a bug? or something for me to fix on my end?

Just gimme your zone (eu/us), realm and name, and i'll take a look

Oh, now that I'm finally awake lol (it was 7:34 AM when I posted last reply), I think the problem is in your browser. Old version was not using ajax and javascript, but it was MUCh slower then both current and beta versions. Please try to set all options in your browser to "default" level. If that doesn't help, try another browser, just to make sure. I'd recommend Firefox, but at the end, it's really your choice.

I use No-Scripts on my Firefox browser. I just fixed it so all the scripts would run and that fixed it right up!!

Same problem - no obvious Firefox addon conflicts

Get 2 js errors

Does the problem still appears? If so, try to put all return all options in browser to their default state and disable ad block, cookie filters and check your firewall if you have it.

awww, but those ads are the only way to keep the website operational

It's either that, or ask for donations, or ask for membership fee, which sucks.
