WoW Heroes -> View topic - Point System (Rating System)

On the character pages, that individually show the items your wearing and the score for each of them. Why not make a section below the Base, Melee & Ranged, and Spell stats area that breaks down the scores Negative and Postive points that show how the site comes up with the Overall Score that your character is receiving?

Example:
--------

(Item Name) +141 Points (-50 for Resilence) = 91

(Item Name) +115 Points (-20 for Resilence) = 95

(Total Score) 91 + 95 = 186

You could also add in the Enchants and Gems ETC.

Example
-------

(Item Name)

(+141 Points for Item)
(-50 for Resilence)
(+10 for Enchant)
(+10 for Gem)
(+10 for Gem )
Total Score for item = 121

Well the only downside to this is that lot's of people will start commenting if that's right or wrong, should he/she get 1 more point for [put something here], and that other person should get -xx points less for [put something here]. Some final score can and should be posted for each item, but how we got to that score should not imo.

I have to agree with alex, that is taking it a step too far imo.
