The Holy spec I'm using, which goes into Ret for crit, isn't the 'best' and so it lowers my score. My Prot gear has less ilevel than my Holy gear, and just because my Prot spec is 'best' I get a higher score there. It'd be nice if this was changed, mearly because some Paladins prefer to stack alot of haste, and make up crit in the Ret tree. Nothing beats 1 second Flash of Lights and 1.5 second Holy Lights.
btw, what the heck determines 'best' spec anyway? It's not like I grabbed Divine Strength and Anticipation for Holy.
I would suggest taking a look at my Holy spec, its pretty nice. I gotta make an adjustment and take off my pt. in Blessed Hands and adding that pt. to Benediction (in ret) and also taking my 2 off Anticipation and adding them to Guardians favor. But the points up to Divine Guardian are better than the ret/crit you were talking about. I think anyways
Well, don't I feel dumb. My wife just pointed out the same thing. I don't get how wow-heroes figures up gear score though. Just by adding the ilevel amounts of my gear, overall, Holy is better. I suppose it factors in the variety of gear scores, guess it's time to let go of my alchy stone and haste proccer.
My spec is also a very popular one. Since crit was nerfed i feel it isnt necessary to go into ret for it. So instead i go for divine sacrifice and 11% more healing
