since the new patch 4.0.1 bm hunter dps for has been fun for 5 man raids and fairly simple now. although for 10 man raids i suggest a mm or surv build there is nothing wrong with a bm build. the rotation i am using is hunters mark serpent sting and spam arcane shot till focus is out then steady shot till serpent sting is done then start over with arcane. i usually do about 7-8k dps like this not sure if ti is best but hopfully it will help. also one thing to the hunter that said armpen wasnt the best gem for mm i think. it was the best gem for mm hunters before patch. with the right amount of armorpen a mm hunter owned in dps hands down but that is neither her nor there because it is out of the game now. not sure what the dps difference is for bm hunters using attack power now because all my gear is used for my surv spec but agility sems to be doing great. i only use a different color to satisfy my meta gem.
