I have not looked you up so this information may not be helpful to you - but I am a recent level 80 prot pally and I am not having mana issues and very little problem with threat. I used an excellent pally in my guild as my "role model" for talents and for choosing gear. His character name is Boldslasher on the Alexstrasza server. Hope it helps =)
