How could a guild, founded on October the 30, end up with every raid achievement in the game as far back as Naxxramaas the day after they were founded? Is there a glitch regarding the guild progression tracking, or how would you prevent something like that after say a guild imploded and reformed?

Guardian is currently seeking more especially HEALERS and CASTER DPS to continue raiding ICC content (both 10 and 25m Content).
We have two 10m ICC runs, one for weekly players and one for weekend players, and with more healers will be able to dedicate a third. Fridays and Sundays we raid 25m ICC.
We also have fun monthly guild events, a crappy website with funnies (GuardianGuild.GuildLaunch.Com] - apply now!), no use of a DKP looting system, private ventrilo, and a great group of active players. We do ask that all content stay PG-13...of course at 1am when all the kids are in bed and we've had a few too many beers, that's kinda null and void.
Members who have reached full raid status have all of their guild raid repairs paid for by the guild bank.
Guardian is one of the more established guilds on TB, and has been dedicated to enjoying PvE since T4 content. You can get more information on our website, by replying to this thread, or hitting up any of our officers in-game. Yes, even if we are on one of our alts.
We look forward to recruiting you!

Does a guilds achievements still stick with them, even after the guild is completely disbanded and gone?
I've noticed quite a few guilds with rankings (very low ones, rather) on Thorium Brotherhood server that are gone completely. As in disbanded, poof, you can't even find them on the armory anymore.
Does this get checked and purged automatically or are they just stuck in progression limbo forever?

I am sure that you've heard this before, but not in the last 100 or so posts that I could find...so I risk saying it again ><
I had no idea up until making a post in the bug section that a guild COULD just technically sign up, claim a character with officer or GL status, and claim all sorts of achievements for their guild wether they'd earned them or not. With that, isn't there a way to have a website automatically queue the armory say every 48 hours or so and automatically update this??? The old WowJutsu site had this, and while it done very slowly and before we had the achievement system in wow...it was automatic, and still nice.
I think it would also help clear up a lot of problems with achievements showing up that are not valid. For instance 6 of us clear Ulduar hard mode, sweet I can go update manually wow heroes here...but the achievement MIGHT not actually register on the website until the site checks to see that those 6 people have logged out with the achievement being earned. Like a checks and balance system? Maybe even develop some sort of in-game mod that would calculate this, and could be uploaded via client or even something that pulls directly from the armory?
Sure, it would be massively more intensive than anything you've done now, but it may be just the ticket we need to stop a lot os misunderstandings regarding rankings.

Does WoW Heroes use guild achievements to verify what guilds have gotten to what stage in progression?
I saw a brand new guild pop up today, been around maybe a month....and they are racking up achievements from before they were even formed. I thought that you had to have so many people with achievements to back up the claim????
Just wondering how all that stuff worked.
Thanks!
